What's up with our local Real Estate market?
Just a few months ago the news was full of gloom and doom. Now, even the press is speculating that things may be rebounding. I don't have a crystal ball so I can't tell you with any certainty what is going to happen next month. But, I can tell you that April's sales were just about equal to April 2008 - before the bottom fell out of the market. I do believe that low interest rates, pent up demand, and the realization that the sky isn't falling are all helping people decide to buy a home or move up to a larger home. With prices still well down from last year, this could turn out to be the time to buy.
