I feel that 2012 is going to be a good year for BC business, a good year for the real estate market, and a better year for the world economy. Although Europe is definitely not out of the woods, the governments there seem willing to tackle their problems head on. When we look South, we are starting to see more positive results than negative, although our American friends still have a way to go.
Let's also not forget about the huge defence contract that will start creating jobs right here in Victoria in the very near future.
Today the Canadian Press released an article on the topic. As well, it looks like we will hear very soon on how the HST will be phased out. Just having this news will help stimulate our new home market.
Of course, you have a very personal choice to make... How you choose to think and how you choose to see the future in your own mind will play a large role in how 2012 plays out for you.
